This past May, JCMU hosted four short-course programs on a variety of topics. Dr. Karol Pelc (Michigan Tech) hosted Japanese Innovation Management, a course focused on business innovation. Mr. Don Werthmann (Washtenaw Community College) taught Digital Photography in Japan for photography, studio art, and advertising students from across Michigan. JCMU was one of many sites for Global Supply Chain Management & Cultural Studies, a longer program hosted by Dr. Anthony Ross (Michigan State). Dr. Mitsutoshi Oba (Northern Michigan University) also hosted an art history program. In just one month, over 70 students and faculty studied at the Center.
