I know that this program has provided me with a lot as I move forward in my personal and professional life.  As I continue my life’s journey, I now know that I want to pursue a job that will allow me to travel the world, and I also hope to continue to travel in my personal life. Initially I did not think that I would ever want to work abroad, but after this program it is truly something I could see myself doing, and I think the study abroad program has helped set a positive trajectory for my career goals.

While studying abroad, I was able to immerse myself within European culture which was initially hard, but once I found my place, I was able to fall in love with everything around me.  Being able to experience all of the historic architecture and landscapes that Europe provided was just another part of this program that I could not be happier about.  Due to the European train system, Group of students in Belgium countryside holding Spartan flagI was able to see some of the most incredible places in the world over a weekend which is an opportunity I know I wouldn’t have had if it wasn’t for Michigan State and their incredible study abroad program.

My summer abroad was the best summer of my life and to anyone considering studying abroad I would emphatically encourage them to take that step and go experience the world while also furthering their education with Michigan State University.
