Robert with fello med students in PeruMy study abroad in Peru stands out as one of the most enriching experiences I've ever had. During my time there, my class and I established a clinic in the underserved area of Iquitos, Peru, offering healthcare to those who couldn't access it otherwise.

Subsequently, we journeyed along the Amazon River delivering medical care to different tribes living within the Amazon rainforest. Their culture was captivating and unlike anything I had ever encountered before.

This program was an invaluable lesson that taught me to tailor healthcare to different cultures, emphasizing the need for personalized treatment depending on that person's values. I am immensely satisfied with the impact we made on our patients' Robert at Maachu Pichu in Perulives. I highly recommend studying abroad to broaden one's perspective on life, to foster cultural understanding and develop a global mindset.
