Room Rental

Room rentals are available for academic visitors and program groups. Room rentals must be pre-arranged and approved by JCMU’s administration at least 30 days in advance of the visitors’ arrival at the Center. No tourist lodging is allowed.

Amenities

Room rental rates include:

• A fully-equipped apartment
• Utilities (water/sewer, gas, electricity, and domestic phone service)
• Wireless internet service
• Bicycle rental and bike helmets
• Use of building facilities (library, laundry, computer lab and other common areas)

Use of classrooms, lecture hall and arrangement of welcome orientation are available but must be pre-arranged with JCMU staff.

JCMU staff can assist with advanced arrangements for local cultural activities and site visits. However, any costs associated with activities are NOT included as part of the rental fee and are the responsibility of the guests/guest program.

Short-Term Housing and Administrative Fees

Consortium daily rates (per person)

• Student apartment - $52
• Faculty studio apartment - $70
• One-time program fee - $45/person

Non-Consortium daily rates (per person)

• Student apartment - $65
• Faculty studio apartment - $90
• One-time program fee - $60/person
