JCMU has two types of on-campus housing: our typical double occupancy apartments, and our wheelchair accessible apartments.
In order to best support our students of all gender identities and sexual orientations, JCMU's on-campus housing arrangements are gender inclusive. For more information please review the "Living in the Residence Hall" section of the JCMU Student Handbook.
Student apartments are designed for double occupancy, each with a private bedroom, plenty of closet/storage space, a shared kitchen, and a shared bathroom. Kitchenware comes standard in each room, as does bedding. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, sink, cupboards, mini-fridge, rice cooker, microwave, and toaster oven.
Wheelchair accessible rooms are available. In addition to kitchenware and utilities, these rooms are also equipped with tools to make living in Japan with a mobility disability more manageable.
